The platform sub-project has four objectives:

  • to integrate in a simulation framework (SALOME) thermal-hydraulic, neutronics and fuel thermo-mechanics codes and solvers. Integrated codes and SALOME simulation tools will work concurrently within the applications specified above and developed by the other sub-projects
  • to assist and advise partners in integrating their modules and codes
  • to ensure the production and maintenance of the NURESIM platform, its quality and non-regression, and also promote collaborative development by providing partners with tools like CVS repositories and bug-tracker
  • support the implementation and use of HPC with SALOME for some codes
  • to maintain the URANIE platform, assist and advise partners in using it for their sensitivity analysis, model calibration and optimisation studies

The concrete and measurable objective for SP4 is the release at the end of the project of the updated version of the platform, codes, generic tools and coupling schemes.

The NURESAFE Final seminar will be held on 4-5 November 2015 in Brussels, following the EUROSAFE Forum 2015 on 2-3 November 2015. The event will be open to the scientific community and other EU projects.
